The School District of Washington’s Board of Education held a reorganization meeting Tuesday morning, June 16, at the District Office.
Incumbents Scott Byrne and Susan Thatcher, along with newcomer Dan Leslie, were sworn in to office after claiming the three open seats in the June election. See the photos below.
Outgoing Board member Bob Oreskovic was recognized for his service to the district.
Board members are elected to three-year terms.
John Freitag remains the president of the Board of Education. Jason Oesterly is now the vice president.
Other members of the Board of Education are Kevin Blackburn, Matt Wilson, Byrne, Thatcher and Leslie.
Julie Bell is the secretary to the Board and the custodian of records. Robin Kluesner is the Board treasurer.
