Claire Ayers and Samuel Schmitz recently were recognized as Washington Rotary Club’s students of the month for Washington High School and Four Rivers Career Center, respectively.
Ayers, a senior, is a member of Leadership, Student Council, Blue Jay Journal TV, National Honor Society, and the cross country and track and field teams at Washington High School. She holds a 4.0 grade-point average.
Claire is undecided on where she will attend college. She plans to pursue a future in the science field. She’s the daughter of Bryce and Stacey Ayers.
Schmitz, a senior home school student, is in the Graphic Communications and Information Technology programs at Four Rivers Career Center. He’s the son of Dave and June Schmitz.
