Sheriff's Department Shares Vehicle Regulations With Automotive Technology Students
Deputy Chris Ball from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department spoke with Automotive Technology students about how he enforces rules, regulations and laws for truck drivers on the road.
Ball explained to the students how officers inspect trucks, and why working on trucks and preparing them for the road is critically important to keep everyone safe on the roads.
It was important for the students to hear the presentation and know what they might have to prepare for as future automotive technicians.
Automotive Technology instructors Dan Brinkmann and Gary Maune supervised the presentation. Brinkmann borrowed a tractor trailer from a family member for Ball to demonstrate the process to the students.
The presentation took place on the FRCC parking lot. Photos are below.
