Washington High School volleyball player Kassidy Phillips is the KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week.
Phillips, a 5-11 junior middle hitter, has played a big role in the Lady Jays’ success this season. She played an instrumental role in the team winning the Hermann Tournament on Sept. 27 for the fourth straight year.
Heading into action on Oct. 1, Phillips had 226 kills on the season, averaging 3.96 per game and a percentage of 41.61. She has 52 blocks, 16 solo and 36 assisted.
A three-year varsity player, Phillips plays all the way around, recording 440 digs and a serve percentage of 97.96 with 11 aces.
In the classroom, Phillips holds a 4.0 grade-point average.
