Washington High School girls basketball player Elizabeth Reed is the KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week.
Reed, a 5-4 senior guard, enters this week’s Washington Tournament just seven points shy of 1,000 points for her career.
On the season, Reed is averaging 11.7 points, 2.5 assists and 2.4 steals per game. She leads the team in made three-pointers and is shooting 72 percent from the free-throw line.
Reed is a four-year varsity basketball player at WHS and also plays softball, where she’s been a part of two state championship teams and three Final Four squads. She will continue her academic and basketball career next year at Culver-Stockton College in Canton.

Elizabeth Reed
