Four Rivers Career Center Hosts Women in Engineering Night

Four Rivers Career Center hosted a Women in Engineering Night on Thursday, November 17.

Female students in the School District of Washington, elementary through high school, were on hand to visit and learn from women engineers from a variety of fields and talk to them about their respective career fields and educational opportunities in engineering for women.

Approximately 40 female students from the SDOW, many of whom were elementary students, were on hand for the event. The turnout was much better than what organizers expected. The students were treated to pizza, snacks and prizes.
