VCSC Chromebook Insurance

The Vigo County School Corporation is offering a new program to help mitigate the cost of Chromebook repair/replacement fees. This optional program will provide your student’s device with extra protection, including a repair waiver, as well as reduced repair and replacement fees (see attachments). Enrollment in this new optional  program is available through October 9, 2023 at a cost of $20 per student device.

Orientation and Parent Meeting for incoming Freshmen will be Thursday, Aug 3 @ 6:00 PM in the Gymnasium.

There will be time for:

• School Tour
• Parent Meeting
• Meet the Counselors opportunity
• Introduction to clubs and student organizations
• Find your locker
• Receive and updated schedule

West Vigo DECA is having a clothing drive to help benefit Helping Hands of West Terre Haute.

The drive will occur during the week of May 8-12.

All types of clothes are needed!

• Teens clothing
• Childrens clothing
• All sizes

There will be a competition between West Vigo High School, West Vigo Middle School, and Sugar Creek Consolidated Elementary.

The SRT/Advisory with the most donations will win a Pizza Party!

Van Rueckert takes a Top Performer Silver Medal in his role play in his DECA event at International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Orlando Florida

to Whitley Hoesman, Allie Benson-Atterson, and Joe Varvel for earning GOLD at State this past Saturday for their trio performance. Whitley also came home with a GOLD for her solo ensemble! Jack Nesser also received a perfect score and a GOLD rating on his flute solo! Thank you for representing WVHS band and orchestra!
