Mrs. McNichols

Mrs. McNichols earned a bachelor’s degree (2000) and master’s degree (2005) from Indiana State University.  She is licensed to teach English/Language Arts, Elementary Education, and Special Education.

Mrs. McNichols is finishing her 21st year teaching in public schools.  Before serving as a Success Coach at the Vigo Virtual Success Academy, she taught the Reading Lab at Woodrow Wilson.  Additionally, she taught 13 years at Terre Haute South Vigo High School and 4 years at Cloverdale Community Schools.  Her teaching experiences include general education and special education classes in grades 1-12.  She also serves as an adjunct instructor at Indiana State University.

Mrs. McNichols has lived in Terre Haute since 1996.  She and her husband have four kids: Gabe, Emilee, Maya, and Blake.  When she is not teaching, you might find her driving her kids to practice or attending a basketball or soccer game.  She tries to read, journal, and garden as much as possible and enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it be walking her two dogs, Theo and Remi, hiking in the woods, or eating dinner on the patio.  She hopes to do lots of traveling in the near future!
