Hi Anchors! I’m Miss Rhoads and I teach 5th grade here at Sugar Creek Consolidated. 2021-2022 will begin my 8th year of teaching, 6 of which have been on the West Side! I graduated from ISU in 2014 and taught 6th grade at Otter Creek for 2 years before moving to West Vigo Elementary for the last 5 years. I taught both special education and 3rd grade at WVE.
I grew up and currently live in Marshall, IL. I have 2 cute kiddos of my own, Kale who is 8, and Kayzlee who is 6. I spend most of my time outside of school running around after them! I enjoy reading and hanging out with my sisters and my friends in my free time. I also love my cat, Kaykie, and crafting!
This year I am so excited to experience my first year teaching 5th grade as an Anchor!
