About Mrs. Brown

Welcome to 5th grade! I am Mrs. Christina Brown and I found my home here at Ouabache in 2009! I spent my first eleven years at Ouabache teaching 5th grade, and in 2020 I spent a year teaching 2nd grade. I returned to 5th grade in 2021 ! I also am the director of Ouabache’s annual Spring Musical!

I am a Terre Haute native and graduated from West Vigo High School in 1993. I graduated from Saint Mary of the Woods College with degrees in Elementary and Music Education.

My husband Brad and I have two children. Swade is 27 and works at International Flavors and Fragrances in Terre Haute . Ryan, 23, graduated from Trine University in May and is working for Duke Energy, in Bridgeport Indiana, as an Electrical Engineer . I also have two fur babies, Lily and Daisy. They are both Black Labs and love to take side by side rides and eat Dairy Queen Pup Cups!
