About Mrs. Schoen
Hello! My name is Mrs. Schoen and I have been teaching with the Vigo County School Corporation since 2008. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in first grade! I started in kindergarten before becoming a reading teacher in 2011. When my daughter was born, I stayed home for a couple of years before returning to kindergarten at Ouabache in August of 2019.
I have four children of my own, ranging from college to elementary school! The youngest two are proud to go to Ouabache with me. The oldest three are boys and the youngest is a girl. My husband and I love doing things as a family. Traveling is always fun and we especially love taking our kids to different creeks to explore and swim.
I am looking forward to meeting your child and welcoming them into our classroom family.

- NO cell phone or gum in my classroom.
- Arrive to class on time every day with ALL your needed books and supplies.
- I will dismiss you at the end of class – NOT the bell.
