About me
This is my 26th year of teaching. I have been at Otter Creek for the past eight years. Before that, I was at Chauncey Rose Middle School for 15 years. I started my teaching career in Veedersburg, Indiana at Fountain Central Junior/Senior High School, where I taught for three years.
I currently do not coach any sports here at Otter Creek, but have coached, baseball, basketball, volleyball, swimming, wrestling, and track and field during my teaching career.
Before teaching, I spent a total of 6 years playing professional baseball with the Baltimore Orioles and New York Mets organizations. As a catcher, I was an 8th round pick by Baltimore in 1987. I am a Graduate of Indiana State University, were I played baseball. In 1986 our team made it to the College World Series.
I am married to my wife Jackie, and we have two children, Michael and Amanda.
