Welcome to Mr. Kirchner’s Website

Hello!  I am Mr. Kirchner.  I teach 5th grade at Lost Creek Elementary.

I am originally from the Indianapolis area.  After graduating from Indiana State University, my wife and I decided to stay in the Wabash Valley.  I taught 5th/6th grade in Sullivan County for 5 years before finding my way to Vigo County Schools where I have taught math at Woodrow Wilson Middle School and 3rd and 5th grade at Lost Creek Elementary.

When not teaching, I enjoy coaching track, cross country, and swimming.  My wife and I have have 1 daughter.  On the weekends we enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, kayaking, running, and triathlons (anything outdoors!).

At Lost Creek, I am the club sponsor for Running Club, Explorers Club, and Math team.
