Meet Miss Cox
Hello! I am Caitlyn Cox and I began working for Hoosier Prairie in 2023!
I began my career teaching in Georgetown, Illinois during August of 2022. I taught first grade during my time there before joining the first grade team here!
I am from Paris, Illinois, not too far from Terre Haute. After graduating high school, I attended Indiana State University where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.
I have a true passion for working with all students! Helping each child progress in all areas of their development is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment.
When I’m not in school, I am usually teaching dance or spending time outdoors – hiking, kayaking, or just enjoying nature.
I cannot wait to share my love of learning with my students and begin a wonderful year!
