About Mrs. Hunt
I began teaching in 2003. I’ve spent my entire career in Kindergarten.
I love working with kindergarten-age children because it is exciting to
get young students off to a great start. I strive to plan exciting lessons
to motivate the children to learn. Each child in my classroom will have
the opportunity to explore language, reading/writing, music
movement, creative art, math, dramatic play, puzzles, social
studies, manipulative materials, blocks, nature, science and books.
I was raised in Terre Haute and attended several of the Vigo County
Schools. I graduated from Indiana State University with my Bachelor’s
and Master’s Degrees. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my
family and friends, working in my yard and traveling.
I love teaching Kindergarten, especially at Fuqua. Fuqua is a special
school and I’m grateful that I get to work with such a dedicated staff.
