About Mr. Rainey

Hello! My name is Mr. Rainey. This is my tenth year as an elementary school music teacher, but it’s my first year at Dixie Bee! Previously, I was the music teacher at Terre Town Elementary School for nine years. I am so excited to be a bee!

I grew up in Petersburg, Indiana where I graduated from Pike Central High School in 2008. After high school, I moved to Terre Haute to study music education at Indiana State University. In college, I discovered my passion for teaching music at the elementary level! I love spending time with my wife, Ashton, and our daughter, Layla. At home, we have a cat, Olivia, and a dog, Sky. We love our family dearly!
