Hello!

Welcome to SECOND GRADE! My name is Miss Marlow and I will be your student’s 2nd grade teacher this school year.  This will be an exciting year full of fun, adventure, and growth.  I cannot wait to meet each and every one, we are going to have a great year!

I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education at Indiana State University.  In addition, I did a year of student teaching at DeVaney Elementary.  I taught 3rd grade last year, and I am very excited to meet my new 2nd grade class!

  • Ear buds or small size headphones
    • Please open ear buds/headphones and place in a clear zip bag with your child’s name on the bag and ear buds/headphones. Thank you so much!
  • 1 box of 24 crayons
  • 1 package of fine line or thin markers
  • Scissors
  • 2 glue sticks
  • 2 large erasers
  • 2 composition notebooks (not spiral bound)
  • 2 plastic folders with two pockets (red and blue)
  • 1 plastic folder of choice with two pockets (This will be your homework folder.)
  • 1 school box
  • 2 packages of #2 sharpened pencils (Please, no mechanical or decorative pencils)
  • 1 highlighter
  • 1 package of black dry erase markers
  • 2 boxes of tissues

OPTIONAL Supply List:

If you would like to purchase any of these items listed below, it would be greatly appreciated.  We will use them throughout the year.

  • Disinfectant Wipes (generic brand is fine)
  • Plastic bags (sandwich and gallon size)
  • Pencil eraser tops
  • Package of wooden clothespins
  • Individual hand sanitizer
  • Sticky notes
