“Anything is possible. Anything can be.”
– Shel Silverstein
My name is Brandie Hamm and this is my first year as a special education teacher at DeVaney Elementary School. This year I am working with Kindergarten through 3rd Grade students for math and writing. I began teaching in 2001 and received my Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University and my special education license from Indiana University Southeast. I previously taught special education students at Southwestern Elementary in Hanover, IN and started teaching in Vigo County in 2009.
I am married to my husband Les, and we have 2 children, Leah, a Senior at West Vigo, and Logan, a 5th grader at Fayette. We love to go camping to spend time together. We have 2 dogs, Bo and Rusty, and a cat named Cricket. I also like to read and watch my children’s activities. I am looking forward to a great year at DeVaney!
