Welcome to 2nd grade! My name is Megan Cates. I have had the privilege of teaching at Davis Park since 2004. I graduated from Indiana State University in 2004 with a degree in Elementary Education. I received my Master’s degree and Masters +30 from ISU as well. I have taught Reading Recovery, first grade, and second grade. I love being a Davis Park dolphin and watching the children in our school grow as learners!
I have lived in Terre Haute my entire life. My husband Chad and I have two children named Ben and Sophia. They love school and enjoy participating in after school activities and sports. As a family, we enjoy being outside, traveling, and spending time together.
I am looking forward to our 2nd grade year together!
