Washington Children's Choice Picture Book Award

Washington Children's Choice Picture Books are selected by a group of Washington librarians each year and sponsored by the Washington Library Media Association. The kindergarten through grade 3 teachers read the books to the children or the librarian use the books for a lesson. In spring, the students vote on their favorite book and tell the reason why. The librarians around the state summit the votes to the WLMA to find out the children's favorite.
