We are pleased to share that, due to a generous grant awarded to both of the Intermediate schools by Outdoor Schools Washington, all 6th grade students in University Place School District will be able to attend Camp Seymour free of charge. These are one-time funds and only available for the 2022-23 school year. 

Although there will no longer be a charge for camp this year, we will still need your student to turn in their registration forms to participate. Please inform the office or your student’s teacher if you do not plan on having them attend Camp Seymour. A camp packet with more details will be sent home with students on March 13th. 

As we strive to provide equitable opportunities and access for our students, we are thrilled to offer this experience at no cost to families. Time spent together in the camp setting is also a great benefit to the social and emotional development of our students, especially as we seek to recover from the impacts of the pandemic. I am humbled by the generosity of this gift and confident that our students will have an exceptional camp experience.
