- Players are expected to be at home games at least one hour before game time. It is important that players help set up the equipment as well as have time to stretch and warm-up as a team.
- For most home games, junior varsity will be played first followed by the varsity team. Some varsity players will be asked to play with the junior varsity team. One goal that every player should have is to improve their water polo skills and it is difficult to improve if you do not play. By playing with the junior varsity players, varsity players who do not get an opportunity to play a lot of minutes in the varsity game will still be able to play and improve.
- After all home games, junior varsity players are expected to help take down and put away equipment. Varsity players will have a 1000-1500 yard swim set after each game.
- Varsity and junior varsity players are required to watch and support the Curtis Teams.
- For away games and tournaments, players must be on the bus at the scheduled time. The bus will not wait for any player, and if a player misses the bus he will not be allowed to play. Players are also required to ride the bus home after away games and tournaments, even if family members are present. Accommodations will be made for special circumstances only.
- If a player misses practice or a class on the day of a game, he is not eligible to play.
- If a player’s grade point average drops below 2.0 he will be placed on academic probation and cannot participate in competitions.
