Hello and welcome to another exciting school year at Troy City Schools!

My name is Mr. Rohlfs and I have been teaching for 25 years.  My first 3 years of teaching were in the Milton-Union Schools, and I have been in Troy City Schools ever since.  I am a graduate of Troy High School (92), completed my education from Bowling Green State University with an education degree, and later finished my masters degree from Wright State University.

The first 23 years of my teaching career were spent in an intervention specialist role in each of my building placements.
At the start of the 2022/2023 school year, I, enthusiastically, accepted the role of becoming the STARS Coordinator at Van Cleve and Troy Junior High School.  STARS stands for Strive To Achieve Real Success.  The mission of the program is to reach students that have been significantly affected by adverse childhood experiences, and are struggling in the traditional school setting.  The program is designed to connect and reach out to students through a variety of techniques, in hope that their educational experience (and those around them) will be positively impacted.

If I get the opportunity to work with your child, I look forward to establishing a positive, working relationship with you.  What I most look forward to is the chance to have a positive impact on your child, and also working together to foster a better future for your child.

Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns about your child or school events.  My door is ALWAYS open.

Thank you,

Brad Rohlfs.
