Biography:
Hi! Here's a little bit about what I do in TCS:
• Lead the development and delivery of comprehensive literacy professional development for K-5 teachers,
enhancing instructional strategies and student literacy outcomes.
• Organize and facilitate grade-level team meetings to plan, discuss, and implement literacy instruction
improvements and strategies across the district.
• Plan and model high-quality content instruction aligned with the Big 5 ideas in reading (phonemic
awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension), setting standards for instructional
excellence.
• Provide ongoing support to teachers, offering feedback, and coaching to foster professional growth and
improve classroom literacy instruction.
