Staff Profile

Mrs. Hewitt received her Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of Dayton where she majored in piano and minored in voice. She also has a certificate of Deaf Studies from Sinclair University and will soon have her Master's in Music Education from Anderson University as well as be a fully certified Orff Schulwerk-trained teacher.  

Mrs. Hewitt teaches the ukulele and recorder and uses all manner of pitched and unpitched percussion and movement activities in her music classes.  In her free time, she is often found accompanying high school musicals, interpreting for community and church events, or playing keys at her church. 

Her favorite activities include hiking, biking, and camping with her husband and daughters all over the USA.
