Staff Profile

Hi Friends!

My name is Mrs. Spisso and I teach 4th Grade Writing. I am incredibly excited to be joining our Intermediate School Community. This is my second year teaching at Trinity Area School District.

I have my Master's Degree in Education from Carlow University. Prior to pursuing a career in Education, I obtained my Master's Degree in Human Resources and Employment Relations from Penn State University, and worked for five years in Corporate Human Resources.

My husband and I live in the South Hills of Pittsburgh with our dog, Major. We enjoy exploring different communities in Pittsburgh as well as hiking in local parks. We also enjoy cheering on all Pittsburgh sports teams.

I have a passion for writing and look forward to supporting students' appreciation for both written and spoken word. I prioritize students' comfort, confidence, and collaboration in our classroom community. Together we are going to grow our ability to share our thoughts and ideas clearly, as well as use different ways to be creative and innovative in our speaking and writing. I look forward to growing as a team this year!
