Staff Profile

My name is Ms. Dana Bury, and I will be instructing your child throughout fifth grade. From 1992-1996, I attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. Previously, I instructed elementary mathematics and grammar/writing to the fifth graders at Trinity South. As the elementary mathematics department head, I am always searching for ways to engage students in their learning to empower them to use critical thinking skills. My job as the educator is to help students develop these practices to become effective, lifelong learners. To support my belief of life-long learning, I have enrolled in several courses and workshops over my tenure in order to broaden my knowledge in regards to educating students. This will be my twenty-seventh year in education, and I am looking forward to exciting and rewarding experiences with your family.
