Staff Profile

I am a graduate from the University of Pittsburgh, where I earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education. When I moved to New York, I earned a master's degree in reading K-12 and worked in one of the top 10 school districts, teaching third and fourth grades. One of the best experiences during my tenure in New York was being a part of a week long outdoor education experience. This experience persuaded my interest in science.

Since moving back to my home state of Pennsylvania, I have been teaching at Trinity Area School District's elementary school. I absolutely love what I do, who I teach, and how experienced I have become. Nonetheless, I look forward to learning more and sharing what I know to make our children successful.

In my spare time, I enjoy horticulture. Every room in my house has beautiful plants that I have had for many years. I also like to spend time with my family, where we often gather at a VRBO for vacations.
