Michael McCarthy
Mr. McCarthy attended Seton Hill University where he received his elementary teaching certificate along with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. While at Seton Hill, Mr. McCarthy was a standout baseball player for four years and still holds various school records. After his four year career on the field, he was hired as the assistant baseball coach at the university. During his coaching tenure he also earned his Masters Degree in Special Education. Mr. McCarthy was inducted into the athletic hall of fame in 2016 at Seton Hill due to his many accomplishments.
Since his time on the field, he has been a passionate 4th grade science teacher at Trinity Area School District for 11 years. He enjoys sparking curiousity in young minds through hands-on experiements. His energy and excitement makes his classes one of a kind, and he looks forward to working with the next generation of innovators.
In his spare time, he likes to spend time with family and friends, play baseball, train baseball and softball players, workout, officiate football, and play video games.
