2024 WSHS Homecoming Week Dress Up Days 

Monday, October 21: Tacky Tourist Dress-Up Day 

Tuesday, October 22: PJ Dress-Up Day 

Wednesday, October 23: Olympic Dress-Up Day – Wear a Jersey 

Thursday, October 24: Twin Dress-Up Day 

Friday, October 25: White Lies Dress-Up Day & Pep Rally 

Saturday, October 26: Homecoming Dance (WSHS Courtyard)! GO BEARS!

2024 WSHS Homecoming Week Events:

1. Monday, October 21 -Drive-In Movie Night! Hercules (Disney)

   1. 7pm-9pm WSHS Senior Auditorium Parking Lot

   2. Cars = $10 to park

   3. Walk ups = Free (Must provide own chair/blanket)

   4. Food Trucks & snacks being sold

2. Tuesday, October 22 - Dodgeball 

   1. 7pm - 9pm

   2. WSHS Gym

   3. 2 Brackets! Sports v Sports & Clubs/Organization vs Clubs/Organization

   4. Free for students to attend

   5. Teams w/ most support win money for their team / organization 

3. Wednesday, October 23 - Talent Show 

   1. 6pm - 8pm

   2. WSHS Auditorium

4. Thursday, October 24 - Powder Puff Game 

   1. 7pm - 8:30pm

   2. WSHS Wayne Epps Stadium

   3. $5 - tickets are on Go Fan! (just like you buy for athletic events)

5. Friday, October 25 - Homecoming Football Game & Half Time Show 

   1.  Homecoming Court will be presented at the game & the Senior King & Queen will be crowned during Half Time!

6. Saturday, October 26 - Homecoming Dance

   2. Tickets are currently

      1. Wednesday, October 16 - Sunday, October 20 for $35

      2. Monday, October 21 - Thursday, October 24 for $45

      3. Tickets are $50 at the door on Saturday, October 26; cash or Go Fan only. 

      4. Students purchasing tickets at the door (Saturday, October 26), need to have a parent permission slip on file: https://forms.gle/iDCnU7eP3z47GaVV8 

      5. Guest Tickets:

         1. Students who applied to have a guest attend the dance will be able to purchase the ticket once their guest has been approved.

            1. Guest forms had to be completed last week by Sunday October 13, 2024

            2. Now, students wait for the WSHS Admin to receive approval from the guest school’s admin. 

            3. WSHS Students will receive a link via school email to purchase their ticket. 

            4. Guest tickets (once approved) may be purchased starting Monday, October 21 for $45

            5. No late guest forms will be accepted. 

         2. Please read the email carefully for all information on how to purchase the ticket. 

         3. Guest tickets are $45 online or $50 cash at the door

            1. ONLY Pre-Approved Guests will be allowed to purchase at the door.

2024 WSHS Homecoming Ticket Pickup:

Students need a photo ID to pick up tickets. Guest tickets that are purchased 24 hours prior to pickup date will be able to pick them up w/ their homecoming ticket. 

1. Monday, October 21 and Tuesday October 22 at Lunch

   1. Students who purchased their tickets by Friday, October 18 will be able to pick up on Monday, October 21

   2. Students who purchase on by the Sunday, October 20th will be able to pick up on the Tuesday, October 22nd

   3. All other presale tickets will be available at the gate

      1. There will be a separate line for pre-purchased tickets

2. Wednesday, October 23 After School

   1. Room 4-208 starting at 1:30pm

3. Saturday, October 26 at the dance

   1. There will be a separate line for pre-purchased ticket pickup

SCPS High School Dance Protocols 

1. ALL WSHS Students & Guests will be required to show a Picture ID at the door.

2. Picture ID must correspond to the name pre-printed on the ticket

   1. Acceptable forms of ID

      1. FL driver’s license or FL identification card

      2. Official school ID card

      3. Skyward ID (from the menu, access “student ID” card to show at the door)

3. Prior to entrance to the dance, all students will be wanded by security.

4. All students will be required to wear a wristband, provided for them after they clear security, for the duration of the dance.

5. Students will be allowed to bring a small clutch bag,

   1. no larger than 6". No other bags are permitted.

WSHS High School Dance Protocols

1. No student is allowed to enter the dance after 9:30pm 

2. Students must be picked up by 11pm

3. The dress code for homecoming is semi-formal.

   1. Students MAY wear: semi-formal dress, suit & tie, dress shirt & dress slacks

   2. Students may NOT wear: jeans, t-shirt, Polo, shorts.

4. There will be a personal item check ($5 at the dance) - Sponsored by PTSA - for students.
