Welcome to the 2024-25 School Year!

I grew up here in the lovely San Marcos and attended Woodland Park Elementary (before it became a middle school), San Marcos Junior High, and then San Marcos High School.  After high school I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Fresno State University and then my single subject credential from San Diego State University.  

I worked in accounting for 6 years before I decided it wasn’t for me and I became a teacher.  I had tutored all throughout college and enjoyed helping students understand and enjoy math. I have been teaching math for 10 years and love it!

Outside of school, I have a husband and two children.  My son is in 7th grade and I have a daughter who is in 3rd grade here at DPS.  We love anything that has to do with the outdoors! In my spare time I love to exercise, do yoga and watch reruns of The Office.
