8th Grade History

I’ve had the privilege of working in SMUSD for over 20 years and am proud to be a founding teacher at Double Peak. My experience spans teaching 7th and 8th grade History, as well as 7th grade Math and ELA, and I’m excited to dive into another fantastic year of teaching eighth grade History and getting to know all of you.

Before joining Double Peak, I spent 14 years teaching 5th grade across our district at Richland, La Costa Meadows, and San Elijo Elementary schools.

I have two wonderful children, Kaela and Ryland. Kaela is now teaching in SMUSD, and Ryland is about to start seventh grade in our district.

At home, our family includes two rescue cats and a leopard gecko. Outside of work, I love unwinding at home, watching shows, relaxing by the pool, enjoying meals out, spending time at the beach, and traveling.
