Dear Brown Intermediate Family and Friends,
What an honor and privilege it is for me to be the new principal at Brown Intermediate School! Sweetwater has always had a rich tradition of excellence in all areas, so it is exciting to have the opportunity to work in such a great school community!! Getting to know YOU… the students, staff, parents and community will be my top priority in the weeks and months to come. Building relationships with you is important to me, because without YOU we cannot accomplish the goal of being the best school around!
As principal, I look forward to giving the staff and students a safe and positive environment, while giving them the support, resources and guidance they need to grow individually, and as a whole. Shared leadership will be encouraged for both teachers and students. Students will be given a strong standards-based curriculum that will continue to build on the foundation needed to succeed in the grades ahead. I aspire to cultivate relationships with each of you based on honesty, respect and a shared vision of high expectations, both academically and socially, that this school and this community deserves. Together, we will celebrate the successes, while continuing to find ways to improve our Wildcat Nation!
