Sumter PREP Academy prepares students to be employed. We had many success stories such as:

1. Curtis Shawn signed for employment in July 2022

2. Miranda Lawn signed for employment in May 2021

3. Mackkenzi Barkley signed for employment in July 2019

SPA has launched many work-related initiatives. For example, paid internships, trade and training, signing day among many others.

This summer of 2024, we focused on coordinating and providing transportation from students’ residences to their job sites. Sumter PREP Academy serves all students who were hired for summer job opportunities through Career Choice.

By providing transportation, we ensure our students arrive on time for their jobs, establish relationships with their employers, and guide them during their very first job experiences.
