We have a nationally and internationally recognized program. Dr. Anna Winneker of the Florida PBIS Project and the University of South Florida recognized our program. Thirty-Five (35) administrators from the Netherlands visited our program on Valentines' Day 2017. We are PBIS mentors to schools in Sumter, Lake, Seminole, Pasco, Hernando, Indian River, Columbia, Dade, and Taylor counties. Our Principal, Mr. James C. Presley, speaks around the nation on "Creating a Positive School Culture".

As part of our PBIS reward system initiatives, we were able to partner with the Orlando Magic, where an NBA player sponsored our students.

Principal Presley has been a speaker and session leader at several conferences, sharing our vision and success of our schools with educators across the country.

In November of 2019, Principal Presley received the Legacy award from Celebrity Educators Incorporated for his outstanding work here at Sumter P.R.E.P Academy.

Our students have successfully transitioned to their zoned schools and/or have been hired while at SPA.

Many businesses and members of the community have sponsored SPA or supported our school with the initiative Training and Trades.

In SPA, we teach academics while building character.
