Key Club is sponsored by the Kiwanis. Students are actively engaged in projects to better Central Florida. The Key Club sponsors all food drives at SSHS. The Key Club helps the Interact Club projects including raising money to buy wreaths for Wreaths Across America and the Mid-Florida Homeless Coalition. The students also make mats made out of plastic yarn for the homeless. Students participate in Earth Day activities by picking up trash near SSHS. Students also make cards for young hospital patients at Shands Hospital. 

Officers in Key Club are invited to various meetings at nearby locations to meet officers from other high schools and discuss volunteer opportunities. 

Volunteer hours count toward Bright Futures.
