Sumter P.R.E.P. Academy defines "alternative education" as a unique way of providing nontraditional instruction, in a nontraditional instructional environment, that meets the needs of nontraditional students. We are currently allocated for 100 students, grades 6th-12th.  At S.P.A. we provide supportive services for academics and behaviors to all of the students that are assigned, and specialized instructional programs for our students with exceptionalities.
