Echo Bell is a valuable member of the Kershaw Team. Echo sincerely makes a difference in students’ lives and is well-deserving of any and all possible recognition. Echo is always cheerful, energetic, and positive. She is a full-time one-on-one paraprofessional and helps our students with severe disabilities learn the academic, social, and functional life skills needed to help them be more independent. She makes the student(s) she works with feel loved and is able to push them to do things they haven’t been able to do before. She has exceptional people skills, is hard working, and loves kids.  She is a full-time mom, works nights at an assisted living facility, and is working on her credentials to become a nurse.

We appreciate all she does and the way she does it!  Echo Bell is amazing and we are so blessed that she works here at Kershaw!

Partners Who Have a Positive Influence: Lloyd Robison https://www.sugarsalem.org/blog/2024/02/15/partners-who-have-a-positive-influence-lloyd-robison/ Thu, 15 Feb 2024 20:39:39 +0000 https://www.sugarsalem.org/?p=16238

Lloyd Robison has been working as one of our behavior support specialists for 6 years. He has worked in the JR High and SSHS with a variety of students. He is able to help students apply academic and behavioral skills to real life applications. For the past few summers he has also helped in our summer work program. He has been flexible with his placements as this year one of his students moved, so there was a reassignment that needed to happen to keep his weekly hours. He was appreciative of this effort by the district. He doesn’t like it when the students he works with are not at school (neither does the other faculty.) When we have had a need to move him around and cover for other staff members when they were sick and his student was gone, he has taken on those adjusted assignments willingly. Thanks again for all your efforts for our Sugar-Salem education community. You are making a difference!
