The counseling team at Wind River Middle School and Stevenson High School are committed to supporting your student in finding success in learning. Our team can help with new student registration, guidance counseling to plan for success while in our school and making plans for after graduation, drug and alcohol prevention programs, social-emotional support and problem solving skill development, and facilitate connections to Community Mental Health for students who need additional support.

The team would like to offer these reminders and supports to help students

• Showing up is a prerequisite to success in anything that we do. Data shows that students who typically have more than five absences or tardies have lower grades than their peers.

• There are many opportunities for students to get extra help. Wednesday's after school students are welcome to attend study hall.

• Checking Skyward is a great way to stay informed on how your student is doing in class, attendance, current grades, and classroom assignments may also be attached. If you need help accessing Skyward, please call our office.
