Tryouts begin Monday, November 29th, Tuesday, November 30th, and Thursday December 2nd from 2:45-4:00. • Attention boys and girls Cross Country:  Our end of season party is after school today.  Boys will meet in room 254 after school and girls will meet in room 255.  If you brought in an item for the party, feel free to drop it off in Coach Nelson's room if you didn't already.  Please arrange for pickup at 4 if you are not taking a late bus.  See you after school!
  

• A big “thank you!” to TE students and staff for making our Thanksgiving Food Drive such a great success! Thanks to your generosity, we were able to make 25 Thanksgiving dinner food baskets for families in town. We also received over $300 in donations which allowed us to purchase grocery store gift cards to go with the Thanksgiving baskets. Special shout out to our Emerald Team WIN Community Club members for helping to organize the food drive. Thank you, TE, for your kindness; it will be appreciated by many families!

• Welcome back to another edition of TETV News. Today is Wednesday November 11th and its Veterans’ Day. Veterans Day occurs every year in the United States in honor of the “eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month" of 1918 that signaled the end of World War I, also known as Armistice Day. In 1954, President Dwight D. Eisenhower officially changed the name of the holiday from Armistice Day to Veterans Day. Do you know any Veterans in your family, neighborhood or community? Please take the opportunity to thank a Veteran in your life or in our community today!

Drop off boxes are at A, B and C  entrances.  You can also give a $1 donation to your homeroom teacher. Thank you very much for your generosity!

 In Flanders fields the poppies blow

We are the Dead. Short days ago
