  • Last night the Lady Cougars basketball team had their toughest game of the season taking on a fierce Wildcat team from Windsor Locks. The game was nip and tuck throughout the first half, with TE trailing for the first time ever this season, 7-6 after quarter one. In fact the score was tied after two, 14-14. The second half is when the Lady Cougars poured it on, taking the third 14 to 3. Olivia Dzubin had six in the frame, including a deep three pointer. Emily Keegan and Elise Glunt rounded out the scoring in the quarter with four points each. Dzubin and Keegan led all scorers with nine points, Leighton Edwards, Raegan Burnham, Deeksha Reddy, and Emma Rutkauskas, rounded out the scoring with four, three, two and two points respectively. The final score was 33-22 and assures the Lady Cougars will finish atop the CRAL standings, headed into the playoffs. TE’s last game was moved due to possible weather on Thursday. The Lady Cougars will travel to Suffield today for their final regular season game.  Please dismiss all girls basketball players and mangers at 2:20 today.
  • The boys basketball team beat Windsor Locks Middle School, 56 -31 on Tuesday afternoon. The Cougars continued their winning ways. Their long distance shooting and pressure defense helped secure the win. The team put their 11-0 record on the line today against Suffield at home.

  • Hey Cougars! Get ready to celebrate Black History Month! Our TE Change Leaders are bringing back the awesome Hallway Decoration Competition! Remember last year when the Emerald Team scored that epic Chill Day with all the fun activities? This year, your team could be the champs! Here's the deal: Pick a super important Black historical figure (someone who made a real difference – sorry, no athletes or celebs this time). Then, work together to transform your hallway into an amazing tribute to that person. Think of creative decorations, cool facts, and anything that shows why your chosen figure is so inspiring. Your teachers will get all the details, so keep an ear out for their announcements. The big judging day is February 28th, so you've got some time to plan and create! Get your team together, brainstorm some killer ideas, and get ready to show off your skills. May the best hallway win!
