- The TEMS baseball team hosted East Hartford on Monday afternoon. Tom Melia started on the mound coming off an impressive performance last week against Sage Park. Melia did not disappoint. He pitched 5 scoreless innings for the Cougars and allowed only one hit in picking up the victory. Final score was TE 10 East Hartford 0. Melia also led the offense, stroking 2 singles with 3 RBI. Braydon Falco doubled in the game (and scored 3 runs), while Ben Lane, Ben Tetreault, Nick Gombotz, Cam Lewie, Wyatt Pather and Tyler Poland had singles in the well balanced, offensive attack. Behind the plate, Jayden Martinez caught a great game for the home team. TE hosts JFK today in the last game of the season. Good luck boys!!
