  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Friday, December 9.
  • Attention all students who enjoy the outdoors. The TE Outdoor Education Club is taking a hike next Saturday  December 17th from 8am to 2pm. Students will meet at TE and then take a bus over to Case Mountain in Manchester. Students will hike to the summit with Senor Gandia-Torres and Mr. Bartolotta. The price is $10 each student and you will need to bring your own packed lunch. Grab a permission slip from Sr. G or Mr. B in rooms 361 or room 121. Spots are limited to 30 students so sign up today.
  • Entertainers cast and crew: Make sure you're returned your participation contract to Mrs. Leveille in room 343 or Ms. Carver in room 145 by TODAY to secure your spot! Check the Google Classroom at the end of the day today to see the rehearsal and meeting schedule for next week.
  • Attention all fall athletes...team photos are in.  Please see your coach to pick them up.  Girls soccer and Girls Cross Country...please stop down to the gym to pick up your photos.  
  • Today is PJ Day for the kids. Thank you to everyone who participated and donated to help support the children receiving care at Connecticut Children's Medical Center. Your donations will help to support programs that comfort children in some of their toughest moments. Thank you.
  • The Teen Center Toy Drive event is next week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4-6pm at the Community Center. Our volunteers will be handing out hot chocolate to thank you for your generous donations. If you are not able to make it during those hours, we have now added a donation box in the main lobby for you to drop off your gift. Thank you for your generosity!

  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Thursday, December 8.
  • Attention all band students; all of Mr. Marci's lessons are canceled for today.  Please bring your Chromebooks and earbuds with you to band class today.

If you would like to participate in this event please feel free to wear PJs or a flannel to school and donate $1 or more towards this statewide initiative. Donations can be made online using this link, or cash will be collected by homeroom teachers all this week. Please no blankets or stuffed animals on Friday.

  • Attention all those that have signed up for Entertainers, cast AND crew! Check the Google Classroom at the end of the day today to see the final cast list and crew selections!! ALL cast should plan to come to the first script readthrough tomorrow after school in Alt 6, and crew members are invited, too!
  • Congratulations to all of the Timothy Edwards choral students for their amazing performances last night!  You all did a fabulous job! Way to go! Please report to ALT 6 for chorus class all this week.

  • Attention students who auditioned for TETV News. Letters are in the main office with the results of the audition. Please stop by and get your letter today. New positions begin next Monday December 5th.
  • Thank you to everyone who auditioned for Entertainers this week. We are excited for a great show! Please check the Google Classroom for the "call back" list. If your name is on the list, we'd like to see you again on Monday for another audition session. Please take a look at the new songs and scene we'd like you to prepare. If your name is NOT on the list, you still have a part in the show! We'll post the cast list next week and everyone should plan to attend the read through of the script after school on Wednesday 12/7. See you then!

  • And a reminder from the cafeteria, the school district will be transitioning from Free to Paid Meals starting today, December 1st.
  • The Neon Dance is tomorrow. As of today we have over 200 students signed up, so don't miss out. Get out your brightest outfit and join us! Tickets are $10 and available through your homeroom teacher. Money for tickets is due to homeroom teachers by Friday morning. No Tickets will be available at the door.Students attending must also complete the Dance Google Form. Prizes will be awarded for both the best individual and group Neon Outfits. Can’t wait to see you all there!

  • Attention to all 6th and 7th graders auditioning for Entertainers, 7th grade auditions are tomorrow and 6th grade is Thursday. Again, 7th grade auditions are tomorrow and 6th grade is Thursday Keep preparing and we'll see you then! 
  • Attention all students attending cheerleading tryouts today.  Once released by intercom, please go to the locker room, get changed, and meet in the small gym.  Bring all your belongings with you from the locker room.
  • Attention students interested in joining the TETV news staff, Auditions for second quarter anchors will be held tomorrow afterschool until 4pm. Interested participants will read through a daily news script to try out. See you afterschool on Wednesday in room 375.

  • Attention all 7th grade choral students-  Please remember to report to the auditorium for your first encore class today at 8:49 for our joint rehearsal.

  • Attention all students interested in trying out for the TEMS Basketball teams this winter. Boys tryouts will be held November 28th and 29th - 2:45 - 4:00. Also on December 2nd if necessary. Girls tryouts will be held November 30th and December 1st - 2:45 - 4:00.  Also possibly on December 2nd. Report to the main gym upon dismissal.  All attendees must have a ride for 4:00 or take the late bus.  Late buses are not available on November 29th.  Please make the necessary arrangements to be picked up for 4:00.  Students should wear athletic clothing and basketball shoes for tryouts.
