This conference is held annually by the Long Island Latino Teachers Association, and it’s called, “Women Leaders Paving Paths for Young Women."
The girls saw some presentations, participated in some panels with guest speakers who represented different careers/fields, and made a pledge at the end to graduate high school and to continue with their education.
