A special congratulations to Colonie Central High School senior Kimberly Murray who was honored this month by St. Peter’s Healthcare Partners and News Channel 13 as a “Kid Who Cares” recipient. Kimmy and her family participated in a live TV interview, awards ceremony and dinner at the NYS Museum.
Additionally, Kimmy was honored by Albany County’s Department of Youth, Children and Families in early June and presented with the Lt. John F. Finn Community Service Award.
Lastly, Kimmy was recognized as a CAP COM FCU “Making A Difference” awardee for her outstanding contributions to the greater Colonie community.
Also honored at the CAP COM breakfast was senior Parker Fields, who was given the Weidner “Ed” Davis CAP COM Memorial Scholarship for his vision of leadership and promoting education as a tool for all to access.
