14 members of the iCARE leadership cabinet volunteered for the day at the Regional Food Bank’s farm: The Patroon Land Farm, near Thatcher Park. Together they harvested and sorted more than 4,000 onions and over 1,000 butternut squash, food that will help support food pantries and hungry families across the region.
Every other Wednesday from 2:15-3:45 p.m., the iCARE team will volunteer on site to support the Regional Food Bank of NE NY. All students are welcome to sign up and participate through Mr Kachadurian’s office…the more the merrier!
