Some Veeder Elementary School parents and children met Mrs. Ripps at the Regional Food Bank for a tour and learned about the “behind the scenes” of what actually happens to the food that we donate. Roessleville Elementary School students were nominated by their teachers for showing the three school bees: being Respectful, being Responsible and being Safe during the month of October. These students were recognized at the monthly assembly and received PAWS certificates.
Roessleville Elementary School’s Running Club meets every Friday in the fall. The club is open to students in first to fourth grade. They meet before school and run on the high school track. First graders in Ms. O’Connor’s class at Veeder Elementary School practiced their citizenship on Wednesday by signing their very own class Constitution.
Forest Park Elementary School has a new addition – the Falcon mascot. The Falcon was revealed at the Morning Program assembly today. Forest Park students will have the opportunity to name the Falcon on November 14th (Capital Project Vote Day). Watch for our new Falcon at many of the school events throughout the year.
