Notice is hereby given that the proposed budget at the Shamokin Area School District for the fiscal year 2015-2016 was tentatively adopted on Thursday, May 14, 2015 in the amount of $32,314,272.00, which includes a tax increase of .8106 mills (maximum allowed under Act 1 index of 2.9%) to a new millage rate of 28.76. Below is the link to the Proposed budget for your inspection.  The Board intends to adopt the final budget at its June meeting.
