Meet Malcolm Mitchell at Literacy for the Lou!

Malcolm Mitchell is a Super Bowl champion, former New England Patriot, and a dedicated advocate for children’s literacy. After a standout football career at the University of Georgia, Malcolm authored the acclaimed children’s book The Magician’s Hat, which earned him Georgia Children's Author of the Year in 2016.

As the founder of the literacy initiative Read with Malcolm and Share the Magic Foundation, Malcolm works to introduce book ownership to students in underserved communities and improve literacy in schools. His efforts have touched the lives of over 30,000 students through book distributions and engaging programs.
