Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP) on Missouri Connections

“The Individual Career & Academic Plan (ICAP) is a plan of study to guide students through coursework and activities for achieving personal career goals, post-secondary planning and providing individual pathway options.”

“An ICAP is a multi-year process, beginning no later than the eighth grade, that intentionally guides students and families in the exploration of career, academic and multiple post-secondary opportunities to include direct access to the workforce, military, technical school/area career center, vocational training (apprenticeship), 2-year and 4-year college.”

 (Missouri Connections CIS360 Individual Career & Academic Plan, 2019, p. 2).

SLPS utilizes the Missouri Connections website as a platform for completing ICAP activities.

To access Missouri Connections, visit https://portal.missouriconnections.org and select ICAP Login to access the ICAP.  All 8th grade students will be provided their log-in information and an overview of ICAP activities.  For any questions please contact the Gateway Middle counseling team: Roshana Hamm (roshana.hamm@slps.org) or Dr. Florence Fields (florence.fields@slps.org).
